4. Bring Snacks & Little Comforts
Pack a few easy, non-messy snacks and water for breaks. A favourite toy, blanket, or even a small game can also work wonders to keep little ones happy and relaxed during the session.
5. Keep Expectations Realistic
Perfection isn’t the goal — connection is. Don’t worry if your child isn’t giving a perfect smile every second. Some of the most cherished photos are the ones where kids are simply being themselves, whether that’s giggling, snuggling into you, or even pulling a cheeky face.
6. Make It Fun!
The best sessions feel more like playtime than posing. Tickles, piggyback rides, chasing bubbles, or even a little dancing can bring out those real, joyful expressions you’ll love to see in your images.
7. Relax and Trust the Process
Children pick up on your energy. If you’re stressed, they’ll feel it too. Take a deep breath, enjoy the moment, and let me work my magic. My job is to capture those fleeting expressions, hugs, and connections that tell your family’s story.
